Hi Amanda,
Good to see you back, wonderfully poised as always. :)
Susan
Good to see you. Be well.
At first, I thought that was a joke. I feel bad now to know otherwise. I hope you are doing ok.
Hi Amanda! I’m sooo glad you are alright. You are a strong woman. I pray GOD will give you strength to move on!
I am so glad to see you’re okay and able to do the show. Thanks for bringing a smile to face on a regular basis!
Tim G.
I’m so glad you are ok Amanda. Having been held up myself I know it’s terribly unnerving. It always makes it hard to go back to normal life, especially when it’s in your own city. Hang in there girl, we’re with you.
Amanda,
So glad to see that you are well and untouched by the fear that violence brings. Thanks for the smile in the face of adversity!
I’m so glad that you are okay. Like many tv presenters, both on the net and over the air, you’ve become part of the “family.”
Peace,Love and Happines,
Tom
Good job, Amanda. It’s good to see you smiling. (0:
Good job pushing through the news Amanda. I think that we’re all shaken by what happened.
Hello,
Just to let you know it is Friday but the date on the post says Thursday. Don’t know if this is intentional or not but thought I would let you know
peace in the upper east side
so good to see you back in your chair, Amanda. i expect it’ll take some time to recover. god speed to you
Amanda, you are so very strong. I love you and I’m very thankful that we are both still alive, and that is what is most important. You are my hero. Watching you record Rocketboom last night made me so so proud to be yours. I don’t know how you did it. We’ll get through this.
Thank you to everyone for all the kind words, they really touched our hearts and help more than you know.
Happy to see you are ok!
Amanda! Welcome back! We’re all thrilled that you’re ok. Bad things seem happen to good people. Stay strong!
Amanda you are an inspiration and a testament of inner streangth.
Good Form Amanda.
“The show must go on.”

seems like when something bad like this happens, everyone opens up to share their nyc mugging story.
again, glad you’re okay.
bryan
I’m glad that you’re alright.
glad to hear you’re ok Amanda!
As for the 28 hour day thing, I’m against it. We’d still have to work five days a week. It’s also why I’m glad we have to sleep and eat. I hope people realize that regardless of our own personal needs, the system (gov, tax, companies, etc) is always working on ways to maximize (exploit) the productivity (life force) of its resources (employees).
I know people who have so much to do that they wish they didn’t have to sleep. Why? If we didn’t have to sleep, we’d have to work 20 hour days to be able to afford our rent and our cars, so we could, um, drive to work so we could make money to pay for our cars.
Glad you pulled through unscathed, Amanda.
Your site brings a smile to my face daily…NYC can be a rough place, as I have lived here all my life.
Hang in there!
Amanda :I am glad that you are OK..NYC is becoming like Caracas!
Best wishes from Venezuela
A few nice folks at LJ suggested your site. Fantastic!!! Sorry about the gunpoint thing. Best wishes.

Amanda I’m so glad you are ok. Somehow the news about the 28 hours and frogger just kind of faded out after the gunpoint announcement. It’s surreal sometimes whe see the serious stories mixed in with the trivial, but I guess that’s life.
Amanda, your strong and will be a victim only if you allow your self to become a victim, never show fear and never let them see you cry, they can take your dignity but stand strong.
I’m so glad you weren’t hurt, at least physically. Thanks for putting your best forward regardless. You’re a real trooper. I look forward to each broadcast. You make me smile. Hang in there. There is a lot good in the world, right? I hope you continue to focus and to act out.
Amanda,
We have been away and I just saw the post bout your experience. Bad guys and bad events bring opportunity for good responses. You will do great things!
I really enjoy your show.
WR
Funny you should mention 28-hour days. A LONG time ago I thought the same thing and sent a note to the Navy’s Directorate of Time. They had a great sense of humor…they said they had considered the request but their lawyers recommended against it. If something happened during those NEW hours The Directorate might be held responsible. :-)
