Here’s something that’s been bothering me about your site. At the top of your pages you have left and right pointing arrows to get to the previous and next day’s vlogs. But shouldn’t the left pointing arrow move to the previous day, and the right arrow to the next day? That would follow the usual web convention on arrows. Or are you just being contrary again?
Yeah Pilgrim, i always get those arrows mixed up myself, luckly i have a high-speed connection, i just click the other arrow, but sometimes it’ll lock-up my system clicking back and forth from clicking the wrong arrow to fast.

As to the prowess and engineering ability of the Germanic and Norwegiac peoples this is common knowledge, but as a case on Judge Judy showed about a suit involving a lost parrot claiming to be worth $5,000, the other litigants stated that parrot is only worth around $1,500, how did he get $5,000, the Plaintiff said he had a lot of training in tricks (could Rollar-Skate etc, bopp to music), and the other litigant said (Defendant), “yea right! What does he Cook?!!!” or does he cook, something like that, (everybody laughing in courtroom). But parrots CAN COOK, they wear those little Chef hats and put a Spatula in one claw and say, “let’s get cooking!” (with parrot voice), ask any Pirate like Cutie Amanda and they will tell you this is so omg true about Parrot Talent.

I’ve been having problems loading your films lately. The amount of time it takes usually put me off actually watching the clip. And before someone ask, yes I’m on a good connection. Your speed for both downloading and streaming seems to be excruciating low.

Agreed. The past two days has been torture. I am a third of the way through today and it has been 10 minutes. T1 line at office. Used to take about a minute for whole file.

Gee, my download went really fast, less than minute. That was earlier this morning, though, maybe slower now for some people, naw mine just loaded again, and I already had cleared cache, and restarted computer, probably less than 20sec this time with Quicktime.

I think following the convention of past is on the left and future is to the right makes sense. Just put a “Newest” caption over the left most post.
In print ads the most important spot is the lower right hand corner. Folks scan pages in a ‘Z’ formation. Check out any ad in Wired. The Call to Action is in the lower right. Put the new highlight there and watch the hits increase– there’s so much great content at Rocketboom. I’ll bet some swedish fish you’ll get more folks exploring the site if you follow the left to right convention.
why is everyone obsessed with how hot amanda is? although she is a great looking person, it seems that a majority of your audience are baffled by her “hotness” to the point that they feel compelled to write about it in the comments.
Drew: OK, at least you have a reason for your arrow madness.
If you add labels, how about “Past”, “Future”; or “Previous Day”, “Next Day”.
