  2. nice shop..
i wish i was in NY, i would definitely visit this place.

why dont you interview Phillip Torrone (flashenabled.com) at his home? and show us the geeky stuff he has done, that’ll be cool. ;)

  4. Completely off topic, but do you think Rocketboom will migrate to a widescreen aspect ratio like standard TV will for HDTV?

Keep up the good work! (Oh, and I wouldn’t mind if an add was put at the end… make some money!)

  7. I love these entries, on the scene interviews. This and the videogame store are my favorite RB’s. Great work guys, and the music is wonderful… but seemed overly dramatic near the end. Minor gripe.

    I saw a Portland zinester’s zine on the rack… Brainfag. http://brainfag.com

Also, there’s a very similar shop here in Portland called Reading Frenzy… http://www.readingfrenzy.com (whose site is designed by Nate of Brainfag, coincidentally).

  8. I didn’t get why the music over powered the interview audio? It would have been better with the music quieter and the interview audio louder so you could understand what was being said. But perhaps that was your intent? Not sure. I guess I missed it.

  10. omg, see i tell you amanda looks really hottie cuttie with her glasses on! yeah baby! (austin powers accent).

could play like a hottie smarty nemesis to austin powers with like these 70’s shiny vinyl or leather knee length boots (yeah baby), i believe cuter than katie couric with smarty reporter glasses on. need TV show like “everybody loves amanda”, if can have a show like “everybody loves raymond” jeez, i’m sure she’d get higher ratings. like patricia heaton said that she doesn’t believe mr. ramono’s wife in real life has any form of intimate relations with him (he, he).

mr. andrew m. barron that music sounds really neat and orchestrated. really sounds almost epic, like some movie or tv drama like Rome.

also please note everybody: a.m. barron co-owner and founder of rocketboom has announced to viewers’ glee that Amanda’s per show compensation shall be increased to a minimum of $100.00 per show!

    your Lancelot amanda,
Austin Powers (aka International Man of Mystery, amanda for Pres. campaign manager, and spindoctor)

Mr. Walken has conceded the 2008 election to amanda and has donated the services of the following campaign video. hope this helps cheer up some people! click on link!

  14. Mango and good friend Mr. Ricky Martin think sound levels were better at higher levels, Mango would have never thought of that himself, sounded more ominous, gave more life and interest to image of shop.

Mango and Ricky are good dancers and know it is tough being a sexy latin dancer, and too many fans.

Mr. Finch suggests maybe a piece on Cat Shows, gotta be a Cat Show going on somewhere in the U.S., and a correspondent there. that music would be awesome at a Cat Show, or a cat sneaking up on his prey. Music for the Grinch who stole xmas.

Mr. Bigglesworth would like to know if there is a litterbox with Bush’s face on the bottom to encourage cats to use and help show them where to go?

  15. I am suprised, music sounds really good like a movie soundtrack, was looking for some sound clips of your music on web.

Listening to it again sounds like a composition in Lord of the Rings.

  17. i personally like mustard, and am irritated some israeli freak who smells of Bush Butt is using the name Mr. Mustard on web.

aside from that, see amanda with her glasses really cute and smarty looking can also play a scientist part like in Mutant X (Generation X), or like a Seven of Nine character (hottier and smartier than some already out there, yes ma’am). tom cruise jumping on couch inspired.

isn’t like the name “Mr. Mustard” copyrighted or trademarked, any republican Bush Butthead can use? hmm…gotta look into that.
pity, ’cause i like mustard, and to have someone like that degrade one of my favorite condiments with Bush connotations is intolerable (hear! hear!)

    thank you

  18. Have you guys thought about putting a webpage together, “Rocketboom’s Guide to the Five Boroughs”? With stuff like this and the video game shop and other stuff that you won’t find in Fodor’s travel guide, for us out-of-towners who are looking for something other than a tour of Radio City Music Hall?

  19. I just want to thank Amanda and Andrew for a) being awesome folks, and b) managing to edit down the half hour of me babbling incoherently into three minutes in which I do not sound like an utter imbecile. Thanks for making me look like I know what I’m doing.

Also, my hair has a mind of its own.
