Obviously, the writer is having a little fun. This is a satire. The excerpt you pasted is one of several silly scenarios the writer put forth to illustrate the current chaotic condition of technology companies merging and competing for market share while trying to guess what consumers want.
Or perhaps your response to this article is the satire? Hmm…
My only hope is that they leave Rocketboom alone. Rocketboom right now to me is like that really great band that plays in a little bar down the street and hasn’t been noticed yet. They get signed, and the first album is really great. If you’re lucky, there’s another and another. What I hope doesn’t happen is what happens when the record company starts “suggesting” things and ends up destroying what it was that got you to notice in the first place. Pretty soon, you’re back at that little bar down the street looking for what you used to feel.
To the Rocketboom crew: you’ve got a good thing going. Protect it like it’s your child. And thanks. : )

The important distinction is that he has not been convicted of anything as the casual observer of your vlog might be tempted to believe. If you did an independent audit almost every member of congress would be guilty to some extent of the crime with which he has been charged. He didn’t murder anybody, steal anything, and it may turn out that he did nothing wrong at all. Ethics and morals-wise, contrast him with Ted Kennedy. You hate him because he is conservative, not because of anything he is charged with. You hate him because you are filled with hate.
It might surprise you that most Republicans don’t care that much about what happens to Delay. If he is found innocent, fine. If he is found guilty, it’s like a dead flashlight battery: just get another one. Conservatives don’t lionize politicians nearly as much as liberals do. We LIKE the fact that they get thrown out of office from time to time, which is why most conservatives support term-limits.
Modern conservatives believe in many of the same principles on which this country was founded. It’s hard to know what modern liberals believe in because, like you, they spend most of their time wearing party hats and worrying about what they are against. Your coverage of politics is not only biased, but childish. Keep up the good work, you just drive thinking people more to the right.
The Tom Delay thing is almost like an Onion article. I can’t belive it’s real.
I have been keeping up with the Video Blogs at Blue tights. That director is so laid back for the amount of money riding on his shoulders. I love his atttitude.

I enjoyed this episode. I enjoyed the personal helicopters as well as the production video blogs for the superman and king kong movie. One question: Are those glasses tinted?
Delay should get flogged. I’m fed up withhow corrupt the GOP and administration have become. They make Warren G. Harding look like an alter boy. If Republicans don’t like this site they should
a) go to the Fox news site
or
b) go back to Wyoming (where the woman are scarce and the sheep are nervous)
