My six-year old daughter and I agree wholeheartedly: Wake us up when Monday ends.
Cloudy Mondays are even worse. I wish I could have stayed in bed with the cat.
If you think the Red Sox come back last year against the Yankees was amazing wait until you they win the World Series this year. Conventional wisdon says they can’t win it, since they lost to ChiSox, but as a Red Sox fan…you got to have faith in miracles.
Amanda,
Glad you liked the 500KVolt Arc-quenching bottle circuits tripping on my site. I recently turned on my Hulk’in Halloween Lights - see http://www.komar.org/halloween/ which could pop a few more circuits … but I’m running these with wind power - we’ll see if the windmills can keep up! ;-)
Have you guys ever considered putting together a Rocket Boom blooper reel?
“Christopher Columbus wasn’t the first person to set foot here. He wasn’t the first European either.” Like Europeans aren’t people? Now that’s not funny!
Amanda, it was lovely meeting you and Mario at dinner Saturday. I hope you both had a good weekend here in the sunny south.
The Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria were tiny ships! I’ve seen replicas of them and was amazed at how small they were.
The Pinta and Niña were caravels, small but maneuverable ships originally used for shorter trade expeditions around the Mediterranean. The Santa Maria was a nau, a less maneuverable, heavier and wider cargo ship.
Love what you’re doing here, Amanda. Great idea and nice work.

Amanda and Maria, I’ve never met you, but instead spent the weekend in Austin, Texas. The weather was nice, but it rained sometimes, too. Keep up the good effort.
GASP! It’s Tuesday 10/11/05 @ 12:25 PM and no new “RB” yet !!!
My world is crumbling……
How come I didn’t get to meet you, Amanda (and Mario) this past weekend, too!? No fair, no fair! And it was my birthday 10/10. Sniff.
Now I really I don’t like Mondays.
Tell me why. Tell. Me. Why.
