I really like the larger size. If you’re watching Rocketboom, you probably have the bandwidth for a slightly larger video.
Hey Drew, how about serving the smaller as default and the bigger one as option (save u some bandwidth)…
Also how about displaying the 320×240 at double size (with… maybe like with a javascript button) so display the 320×240 at 640×480… an idea???

Anyone else seeing lots of interlacing artifcats? Or is it a problem on my end?
I love the new size. One thing I do at my vodcast is offer the regular tiny file stretched out. If people are downloading you, of coures they can just do that themselves.
One thing I noticed, with the larger size, the scan line “stair stepping” became visible. Even though mine is tiny, I have to run it through the de-interlace filter to get rid of the jaggies. It’s not the end of the world, but we seem to have a lot of moevement and it becomes a big problem. And, if unless you have that new quad G5, expect up to an hour for render time thanks to the de-interlace filter.
Bigger IS better! The larger format video makes the smaller details of the sites on today’s show much easier to see.
Amanda does a great job hosting the show. She’s like Letterman, only funny. Keep up the good work!

The larger size is nice, but you gotta de-interlace the sucker (why was it even interlaced to begin with? Not like it’s ever destined for NTSC broadcast…or IS IT?).

Your webserver needs configuration for wmv-files - it serves them as text/plain. Most browsers assume that the webserver is wrong in that case. Mine doesn’t (unless I tell it to).
