It was crazy last night on the streets of NYC for the parade…there were so many more marchers than parade watchers! It took 45 minutes for us to get moving..I’ve never seen anything like it!

I have been a regular viewer for nearly eight months now. I have enjoyed coming back daily to see what news I can glean from your experiences. For the most part it your program has been well worth my time, not only for the great information that is so difficult to access otherwise but also for the entertainment. Today however, I fear that you have not accomplished what it is that I have enjoyed for so long. The “two popes” was offensive and completely opposing to what it is I had hoped to get from my visit to your sight. This is not a bash on your right to show such video, you do have that right. But, as a loyal viewer, I am informing you that I feel such material is not what I anticipate seeing and is far below your normal standards of quality and purpose.
1) The Kissing Popes, Pope John Paul to be specific. How wasted was he? He almost falls down at the end.
2) The guy calling the popes “assholes” in the background. Terrific.
3) Your camera work needs work.

To all the folks making derogatory comments about the ‘Boom. Make your own video podcast. It’s not threat, it’s a challenge. If you don’t like what you see here- make your own! Drew, Amanda and the gang have proven that it’s possible.
I don’t agree with everything I see with the ‘Boom but I don’t need to constantly nitpick- and I work in video production!
No show is going to be the end-all-be-all. What are you expecting from free entertainment!?

Well worth the wait! And to all you nay-sayers out there just cope, will you. I may be a newcomer to Rocketboom, and yes Amanda is gorgeous, but if all you are looking for is a peep show there are plenty of other sites out there dedicated to that. I love the fact that Rocketboom does whatever they feel like doing, and if I don’t like it there’s a little red X at the upper right hand corner of my screen. But so far I haven’t been even slightly tempted to use it.
