Thank you for the referral. Let’s see if TypePad can keep from having a heart attack over the bandwidth utilization.
Your fan forever,

I agree. It’s amazing how far you can get to instrumentalize strictly eletrical reactions.
A 24-footage would have shown poor Mrs Schiavo does the same kind of grunts and blinking all day long. It’s a natural mechanical reaction.
If she were conscious and if this wasn’t completely nonsensical bullsh.. from her desperate but stupid father, she would shout when she feels her body aches. Lying all day is quite painful when you’re not brain dead. Which she medically is.
A dozen neon lights against two thousand years of medical research, gosh!
Amanda-
I understand the Mrs. Schiavo case is highly publicized; however, I feel your segment was very disrespectful to her. If you were in her position would you want to be aired on some high profile video blog? I know I wouldn’t want to be. I think there are many other ways to get your point across other than humiliating her in disrespectful manner.
I love your daily segments! Keep up the great production!

I could not agree more with you, Josh. I can understand, though, that some found it disrespectful to Mrs Schiavo to broadcast her (hypothetically) against her will.
In Mrs Schiavo’s interest I think all should be done to let her accomplish her will. I think this video helps to discredit the senseless, idiotic behaviour of her parents. I respect their pain and I think that I would act the same in their case — but not to that extent, not for fifteen years, not against my daughter’s will.
Thanks for bringing this document outside the US, by the way. We in France have almost no covergae of the case, and it’s a shame since I think it’s a cannonical case of US politics, with all its ingredients (religion, lobbyists, Congress, courts, executive powers).
Merci Amanda, nice job :)
OK, serious: What. the heck. was that? That was the single strangest commercial I’ve ever seen. What were they advertising? Sausage? PETA?
And what were the singing squirrels doing in the background? Is it squirrel sausage?
serious=seriously
Haha! You are a very strange person, what a wonderful videoblog!
