Good episode, and not to nitpick, but the Moon doesn’t look bigger this month because it’s closer to the Earth. The relative bigness of the Moon is strictly an optical illusion due to it’s particularly low-to-the-horizon position near the solstice.
The Moon does get closer to and further from the Earth during its orbit, and hence larger and smaller in appearance, but the effect is minimal.
