That’s some pretty atmospheric foreign music. Brings me back to all the Live 8 gigs. And what’s with you dancing all on your own at the end Amanda?! You mentalist! :-)
Fantastic stuff. Make music, not war.
Break it down Amanda! A friend of mine has the exact same skirt. Heh.
Tinariwen sounds like a pretty awesome group, sort of Arabic Funk or something. Great stuff!
Speaking for my inner Ignorant American, I always worry about non-english lyrics. Sure it sounds nice, but what if the Macarena was a fascist call-to-arms? What if that cool Chinese tattoo on your arm really means “I’m with Stupid?”
Paranoia over. Thanks for opening up the world to us, Rocketboom.
(claps)
Awesome! Inspiring!
I play again & DANCE ALONG!
great music. Keep up the good work, Rocketboom.
I look forward to my daily cup of Rocketboom.
Hi Amanda,
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful band with us! I immediately went to Amazon.com and bought the CD. (I prefer to do my hypnotic dancing inside where no one can see me!) :-)
Do you guys have a white balance button your camera?
OMG - I have never seen a video blog that is put together this well. I love it. I can’t wait for more. I have already went through the clips. You rock. Look forward to more VideoBlogs.
Nice piece but you really should have white balanced.
Great music! I love the new arab influence on pop music. One of my favorites is “Cheb Khaled” of “The Fifth Element” fame. Excellent fusion of arab and western sounds.
Way to rock the beat Amanda!
bloody marvellous!
all power to the Boom
Hooked on the A-team. Rock on
i loved this. thanks for showing me yet another awesome slice of NY.
Super.. Love your show, I wish the music would never stop :-)
It was also iteresting to se ground zero.
Great band, awsome emotions…
Kinda reminds me of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, but maybe that is because I am listening to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan… ; )
Amanda, lovin’ your dancing! =)
