    Interestingly both Lambrettas and Vespas are still manufactured locally in India although they are slowly getting marginalized by the Japanese. Vespas were always, by far, the better of the two. The chain drive on the Lambrettas was noticably inferior to the shaft drive Vespas (which were much quieter).

    Gosh, I’m almost crying with emotion, seeing this colour ad sung by the Quartetto Cetra is really quite something if you’re Italian!!
    (Even though I am a Vespa guy too, but you know, a Lambretta is almost unaffordable these days)

    Thanks for giving me back this tiny fab piece of my culture!
