This was the episode that got me watching Rocketboom, after it was mentioned in one of Wonkette’s postings - I wonder how many people came over through that particular link?
These have all been good choices this week, although I wish you could have included Amanda’s dance through St. Petersburg which is one of my favorites.
Oh - also the episode where you spoofed the version of the show that was in Business Week and which launched the Amanda maternity scare should have been included this week.

I would have prefered dress codes, or the comments one (MrFodder should watch the comments one, he’s probably similar to one of the characters), but, that one is fun too, but, I guess being in the UK I don’t have the right viewpoint/knowledge of the US political system for it to be quite as hilarious as it should.
I have replayed your original airing of this episode more times than I can remember to count.

Since we are discussing previous episodes, I wanted to tell Amanda and the rest of the crew how much I enjoyed the piece showing her joyous dance through my beloved hometown during SXSW. That was just the best! Every one of those location shots had meaning for me.
I wish I could have met you. My wife and I concentrated on the film part of the festival and I’ll admit, I wasn’t aware of Rocketboom at that point. My loss.
Anyway, keep on keeping on. I’ll be watching you! And I hope that you can get back down here for another SXSW or for some other reason.

I can’t imagine what could happen if you played this game with me or yes, as soon as you would see me you would tell me: “why don’t we go to play a drink game?” I’m a grown up but I don’t like alcohol (water, juice de orange, milk with chocolate) but I would accept, Something as a deja’vu would begin, I in my strong arms would take you home, when we are arriving you would vomit, part on me, quicking myself I would throw you up the sofa the way you jump on it and you would vomit for a second time, pleased both, you fall in a deep sleep, I wouldn’t know what to do, I would find the map and I would clean the dirt on me with it, then watching you beautifully sleeping I wouldn’t respect you because I would think it would be a lack of respect to do it, in the morning you would find the ruined map and you send me back to latinoamerica with a kick of you powerfull foot and I would have a delightfull travell but a terrible landing in the middle of a garbage collector full of beer cans, crazy as I would be I begin to collect them to be able to pay an internet connection to watch your show.

Okay, in all fairness, lets expand the drinking game. Let’s pop one open for every finger-wag as Clinton tells us ‘I did not have sex with that woman’. Or perhaps we can knock one back for every flip-flop he (or Kerry) performed on support for military action in Iraq. Or one for each of the Fifty-nine deceits in Fahrenheit 9/11. See, we all can play this game…! (but would be much better with Beck’s beer)

Was a time when I used to enjoy a liquid lunch in much the same manner….memories.
Quite interesting that something as disgusting a beer guzzeling, is kind of attractive when done by an exceptionially cute person.
But does not Mr. McClellan begin to make sense after about 12 beers?
Loved it! You guys are so very clever. Better than any comedy show on the air. So…just why don’t you have your own primetime TV Show?
Don’t get me wrong - the skit (plagiarising Jon Stewert/Comedy Central not withstanding) was amusing. Checking thru the archives, its very obvious that Ms. Congdon is the typical NY liberal for whom Conservative/Bush-bashing and politicizing news is her agenda. It wouldn’t be quite so bad if her ‘acting’ were not so amateurish.
Keep in mind that the reason Rocketboom works is because of the way it works. So tampering with this would not be a wise choice. I applaud the inventiveness, attitude and even the political commentary (though usually much different than my own viewpoint) I say let’s just celebrate the very thing that brings us here each day and leave it at that. I wonder what they will think of next. But in order to find out, we’ll have to keep logging in. I guess that Ms. Miller Lite must be the winner, since the deadline was at midnight on Thursday???? Supposedly! Oh and as far as Amanda’s acting goes: It’s a Vlog, not Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. I’d like to see Angelina Jolie try to do what she does every day.
I’m new to Rocketboom. It’s videos like this one that keep me watching. Bravo!
Young lady I am a expert in humans ,so my expert opinion is that too much awkward event happening in the show . it is noticeable.
