ah … so wistfully refreshing to see the untainted Amanda …. and those wacky “computer” games! doesn’t just bring back all of our own ill-spent adolescent days and the hours and hours of playing asteroid.

Amanda…I liked today’s “best of” vlog. I just have so many questions for you, such as, is this a republican leaning site or a liberal? How do ya stand on the war on terrorism, how do ya think about President Bush?
People tell me Rocketboom is a liberal vlog…I cannot stand liberals, and to be honest with you, I don’t think Amanda is a Liberal Hippy! And if she is, who cares because she is so hott!
So, is it going to be rerun RBs…if so there is no complaints here, but I do have a request, can you play the very first RB ever? I would find that interesting! And Amanda, how did ya get so cute?
And who the hell is this Drew dude? Is he Amanda’s man or what the heck is he? Is he ever on RB shows?

So when next year’s People magazine issue of ” before they were famous” comes out, I expect to see this edition of RktB as the resource that helps plot the metoric rise of your host. Being an old fart, I actually went out searching for some of those games a few months ago so I could re-live the dawn of computer mindlessness. To no avail. They were sold out. Apparantly others had the same yearning. The best of is a good touch. It will force investigation of what helped get you here. Happy New Year.

First, my vote for best bit from 2005 - the November 1st Halloween parade show. I wound up watching it five times… once by myself, then with my wife, then with each of my three kids. That’s ROCKETBOOM at its best, capturing a real-life moment with grace, humor and style. Edited as it is to the music of the SugarTone Brass Band, I also thought it played as a genuinely moving elegy for New Orelans, in the wake of the Katrina disaster.
I look forward to the show every day; never fails to put a smile on my face. Good luck guys, and congrats on a great 2005. Joe Hill.
