Bassman
Holy Cow!! Only four comments! Apparently you left some fans speechless.
Awesome as always and kept expecting you to do your thing, and when you did’nt it was awesomer. Great one handed Bass too!.
Merry Christmas
George
In case someone didn’t notice, the basist only has one hand.
that leapfrogging was sweet-ass.
As we say down here in Austin: whyao-uhhhhh…. inspired, truly. I remember many years ago seeing Weather Report play Exit/In in Nashville when Jaco was still just teetering on the brink of schizo-ism. The bass tonight reminded me of that night so long ago, although candidly I was a bit impared and it was a small room and the music was so loud my ears bled from several days …
Still, I have fond memories! Thanks for recharging them.

P.S. Amanda, those close-ups were downright pro-vo-co-ta-ting…
(O_O)
Thanks for that! It certainly made me smile.
Funky bass, toes still tappin’. Amanda, the glasses, AND a hula hoop! Happy x 2, joy x 2!!
Tremendous! The only way to improve it would be to add more cowbell.
Hey, fun stuff. Question: where would I look to find other video bloggers like you?
PS I’ve been watching every day since the NY Times article. Tell us more about the lovely Amanda. She’s a star already!
You caught that bald dude playing hooky.
I enjoy the show but…where are the cartoons?
The bass player was inspirational!
I feel I have to comment, even though words fail me.
Y’all might be getting tired of my constant adoration, but if you keep putting up stuff like this it’s the price you’ll have to pay. At the risk of repeating myself, and paraphrasing others, you guys doth rock!
:-)
An absolutely inspirational choice. The bassist kicked ass and the editing was sensational. Keep up the good work. I couldn’t get through the day nearly so well without you both.
yeah, thats cool =D
do you know when you will release you next dance video???
RG- The bass player was pretty good considering his style, but comparing him to Jaco Pastorius is a bit much. Like Hendrix, Jaco took the world of bass playing into another dimension. And speaking of Hendrix I once saw Jaco play “Purple Haze” on his bass…for kicks….the man was an an incredible showman as well.
Here’s to Jaco & Hendrix!
I don’t know who the bass player in this is, but he should get togeher with jazz guitarist John Scofield and the three of them would kick some serious ass.
B-man
…came back for seconds
Amanda…in the great tradition of 80’s hairbands, you’re now a Video Babe. Does Northwestern Theater Dept.offer a class on that?
Love the show!
Killer! ‘Nother great R’Boom show.
What I saw:
1. Two old guys jamming.
2. Amanda dancing.
3. That one guy headbanging (Funny!).
TeraLink Was Here! ;-)
Beautiful. Mario, your editing turned footage into art….with an attitude.
btw,Oxford American Dictionary Word of the Year: podcast.
Amanda,
Prooty sweet! My subwoofer was going crazy. Let’s do some math…
Amanda + dancing + weird guy headbanging + awesome drums + even more awesome base = casual friday!
12 years old and loving every minute of it,

Excellent-
I’ve been in kzoo for ten years now and I’ve seen Bill play down at Club Soda quite a few times. He’s a great musician and He always rocks out. Thanks for showing some great Kalamazoo music in my favorite podcast.
very intertaining episode… creative too! i loved it. i hope to see more of these in the future :)
Holy poop, is this Amanda!?!?
http://www.mybeatingheart.com/index.html
the product looks very cool, and having Amanda pose with it is a surefire way to sell a bundle right quick. Wonder if I could still get one before Christmas?
So, is it her, or am i going loony?
Yes, that is Amanda. She showed it on RB a week or so ago.
Not my taste in music, but I hope if I ever lose a digit, hand or appendage I don’t give up music — highly inspirational (though the audio/video was outta sync… ahem).
A toast to the man with one hand — may you one day play an open string.
Needless to say, you rock.
I’ve been watching for a while, and we seem to be catching y’all in a real growth spurt where the material is fresh and eclectic. Soon though, it will get campy, then infrrequent, then…..spinning out of orbit. Love it while it lasts!
Congdon kindah looks like the girl in Braveheart who got her throat slit.
creepy comment, richardun.
