Your face is your greatest asset. Extremely photogenic, this is why I say a headshot would be far more powerful than the full desk shot you currently use.
In addition, since your face is so photogenic, you needn’t do anything else. You needn’t display any personality, humor, wit, anything.
You needn’t be perky. You needn’t be cute. You needn’t be cool. Please. No more perky newscasters — don’t we have enough?
You’ve got a run-way model’s face. That’s the way I believe you should play it: flat, bland, above it all. European. Slightly bored. Older than your years — not perky!

“Flat, Bland, European, Bored and Older”???????????!!
What really bad advice, Ricland. Hope you’re not planning on a career doing anything creative… because you’re not.
The thing that’s interesting is someone who is fresh, alive, real, and generous enough to share it.
True, Amanda is beautiful…but she’s those other things as well…not that easy to find out there.
So do us all a favor and look elsewhere for something to fix…this ain’t broken.
Awesome, just found you, new daily visitor - like the style. And the news is very cool. This will go far. And you know, i think you actually enjoying doing this too :)
Can you set up an rss2 feed so we can get to the wmv more easily, if not let me know and i’ll help you out and show you what you need, a simple rss2 php script will be able to read a directory and offer the wmv up to anyone that “subscribes” - subscription is free of course.
ignore me, i found it and i’m a mong. thanks.
My friend wrote the story about the blogging restrictions in San Francisco that Amanda reported on and is linked in the story links section. This is the second time in a month that a political body was looking to regulate political blogs. The first regulations coming from the Federal Election Commission. It looks like both the FEC and SF are going to back off their original proposals, but it’s important for the internet community to stay aware of what kind of regulations are coming about on the web so they can be stopped before it’s too late.
Check out http://www.personaldemocracy.com
for more on internet regulations and how you can voice your thoughts.
sure they pee on their hands since your video is broken (damaged) jsut on that point.
If they wanted to force silence (shame) they just provided the evidence of the truth.
Or it’s a system error?
