@DreamMarko yeah, but have you really been as far as to even have decided to use even go want to do look more like?

  2. GmasterRED says:

    @willem01
You’ve got to be kidding me. I’ve been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided once to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It’s just common sense.

  3. xxShivxx1 says:

how does the map keep changing ??on the left its starts with America in one video and in the next it starts with Europe on the left ???

  4. OpiSenpai says:

    E.A. Poe…the first emo?
Still, his literature is awesome and has inspired many generations.
    And Molly is great…just great.

  6. RainGlobule says:

The person hasn’t been to the grave in the past few years though. As weezywaiter said “Why you no toast Poe no more, Poe toaster?”

  7. crazziii says:

I don’t know when I subscribed to this channel or what this girl is talking about most of the time. Most of these videos are completely pointless, but I’m hooked.

  8. CassianMC says:

some of this isn’t quite right (i just did a biography on him for school, so i know this stuff) like: the poe toaster hasn’t shown up for 2 years rather then coming every year.

  9. katiexbohxbatie says:

I’ve loved and been haunted by Annabelle Lee since I was a little girl. It’s such a beautiful poem, but the idea that you can have a love that’s so beautiful and cherished that even the angels themselves envy you and seek to destroy your love isn’t great to have spinning around your head as try to move forward in relationships… Love it anyway.

  10. ZillieZephyr says:

The intro sounds like a porno…. But it’s still a really well put-together presentation on the life of Edgar Allen Poe. Kudos!!

  11. javermillion says:

“Still today the Poe toaster leaves three red roses and half a bottle of Martell on the grave.” Video shows half a bottle of Hennessey… *Covers face with hand, looks down*

  12. frankdarabont says:

I love you, you beautiful nymph, you make my heart beat like its about to have to work harder, oh god, you are so lovely i want you to stick you to a painting and hang on my wall, why do you do this to me, WHY!

  13. CaptKundalini says:

It is thought by many, especially those in the field of Medical Science that Poe died from complications due to Rabies.

  17. Snowflake70 says:

If I didn’t say it before I will say it now. If I did say it before I will say it again

Let there never be any interference with the tradition by the darkly clad stranger
in the observance of his Poe’s passing. And I hope that stranger has an apprentice .

  18. heymrk says:

I used to have Poe’s complete works. But when I was in college, it was stuck in a storage building. Then the roof collapsed and I lost a lot of things– including the book.

  19. httprover says:

It’s nice to review this video again. Poe’s work is classified as Victorian Gothic. It’s definitely wierd tales.

  20. blockoutalltherest says:

    @etismyname
What really happened was that Poe’s aunt (virgina’s mother, whom both were very close to) couldn’t afford Virgina to live with her so she had no choice but to ship her away. Poe couldn’t bare this. Virgina and Poe were also close. They got married so she could stay,That and they were really in love with each other. Back then there was no age law nor a law about marrying your first cousin. They were married till she died around the age 20 from T.B. Virgina’s death broke his heart.

  21. imatestguy says:

  22. EgaoNoGenki says:

At 2:45 – “A bust love bustle caused his wife Virginia’s health to deteriorate rapidly?” Is that what she said?

  23. birddog2017 says:

A truly tragic story of a doomed man, who couldn’t flee his inner demons, except to write about them, to our everlasting pleasure. Ah! Irony!

  24. babypupps says:

Wow, this is good. I was actually reading up on the Poe Toaster the other day. Apparently, he stopped appearing in 2009(10?) and if he doesn’t show up again after 2012, the tradition’ll be declared broken.

  25. Pirusiandres says:

Nice summary of his life. I didn’t know about the toast thing, I wish I could go to that someday because I really love Edgar Allan Poe.

  27. dynablade1 says:

I hear rocketboom has this thing called “Know your meme”
Is it true or was I high when i saw videos that made me subscribe to this?

  28. ilekaj1 says:

Didn’t you recently hear that the roses and alcohol was not delivered this january? It was on the news recently,. but can’t remember where

  29. BeanKitchen says:

@ilekaj1 I’d not heard that. Hmmmm……. perhaps the toaster is ill or has died. In that case, someone else should take up the job. I’d volunteer, but I live in Oklahoma. Despite his personal failings, he was a pioneer. I very much admire his work.

  30. omgitsvikka says:

@etismyname I dont think the word pedophile even existed back then. xD Good times, gooood times.. I meen, wut? *walks away* o .o

  31. Don’t die Molly. Poe maybe right about the death of a beautiful woman being the most poetic topic, but we want you, Ella, and Ellie to continue what you are doing at Rocket Boom.

  32. DWoodFilms says:

Haha I’ve been subscribed for a long time and saw the first Poe video. Then a few weeks ago my English College Prep class used that video to teach us about Poe. Made my day to see Molly in school.

  33. sellbodys says:

why was he in baltimore? because he lived much of his life here in baltimore, we consider him our greatest resident.
