That was really great to watch. I visited New York for the first time this summer, an amazing place. I was there for less then a week, and it wasn’t nearly enough time. Do you know of any more historical videos like this one? Again, this video was great to watch, really enjoyed it

Nope, it’s not challenging to be the hystorian of a town of relatively recent foundation, where just about everything, including the first purchase of land, is on record. It’s a bed of roses in fact, however fast the urban change may be.
Try to figure out what a town had to be like three thousand years ago from a few unearthed fragments of pottery, with inscriptions on them about which the first problem is to make out the language that was used. That is challenging.
However, I liked a lot this interview.

Hey RB there is other stuff/cities/places other than New York. He didn’t mention that after the powers that be extracted the labor and made fortunes from the nuisance industries, they tore down their business and shipped the people to the hinterlands where now they had to pay to get to where they used to walk to.
