That redhead is the most gorgeous redhead i have ever seen. I would love to make sweet passionate love to her.

  2. Nille006 says:

Keep Doo Wop music alive because rap music still sucks. Why are people always so ignorant when it comes to music?

  3. wanttogotoengland says:

The way he says “Damn, that’s a wonderful thing” makes me think he should be in movies. Such charisma.

  4. krypekeeper says:

@igotaidsinnarnia if thats the hottest red head you have ever seen you need to get out more……..

  5. marcuelcajon says:

This was awesome, and I am sure those brothas was like damn look at this hott ass red head. Cause I sure was.

  6. armack2011 says:

Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Shakira among others should get the basic singing lessons from these fellows!!!!

  7. hitokage4 says:

@armack2011 — You need to get your ears checked if you think Lady GaGa can’t sing. Listen to her simple stuff, with just her on the piano. She’s wonderful.

  8. TheSirMittens says:

@Theonegamefreak They make movies, write books, paint art with those things in there. What difference does it make if it’s in hip-hop? Such an ignorant statement in the video and by you. Accept that. ^_^

  9. TylersTurds says:

@igotaidsinnarnia lol so you wanna give her the aids you got in Narnia? Thats very sweet of you! Giving her a gift she will always remember and never get rid of :)

  10. evbunke2 says:

Why is stupid RocketboomNYC shit being put out on the main channel? I thought the point of the different channels was that we could subscribe to which ones we wanted to, and I specifically DIDN’T subscribe to RocketboomNYC.

  11. gulllars says:

Great to have Ella back, now post NYC videos on the correct channel (which I also subscribe to) so we don’t have to start complaining about it again.

  12. reckonermk1 says:

Yay NYC is back finally. What is happening at Rocketboom at the moment, myou need to keep us informed.

  13. skyzefawlun says:

Welcome back to the states @ellamorton , you’ve been missed. Fantastic interview and piece as always. I don’t think it’s just slick editing, but you always seem to pose really thoughtful and engaging questions that elicit some fascinating responses. It’s one of the things I enjoy the most about your videos. You really bring your viewer into the world that you’re showing us, and let us meet the people you meet. It’s a very special talent.

  14. DarkenedYeastExtract says:

Wonderful music like this still exists in the world and yet – Rebecca Black’s producers (I tend to blame the men in suits rather than the little girl)? The greatest thing I think is that these guys would still preform in the subway even though they’ve gotten a record deal.

  15. arad7613 says:

Awesome. It’s great to see people keeping the wonderful form of doo-wop alive.

And Ella, excellent dancing, you sexy thing.

  16. ellamorton says:

@skyzefawlun Thank you, I really appreciate your comment. I love hearing people’s stories and try to bring them alive on video!

  17. ellamorton says:

@gulllars I’m sorry to inform you that separate channels are no more. Commence complaining in 3, 2, 1…

  18. gulllars says:

@ellamorton but, but, but… You deserve your own rocketboom channel.
Still, glad to have you back on rocketboom and i guess this will help make content from RB daily actually daily instead of most days :)
I’ve been subscribed to your channel since before you went back down under, so i haven’t missed you too much ;)
I’m waiting with anticipation for possible new projects you can/will start now that you’re back, the elegant series were great.
When is the book comming out?

  19. Hoggie295 says:

@Hedonophobia No… because he clearly says in the video that “rap music still sucks”! Did you even watch it or look at the other comments? What other reason would you have for disliking an inspiring video like this??

  20. SirReptitious says:

Its SO refreshing to hear a black man actually admit out loud that rap music sucks! Its like when Bill Cosby gave some graduation speeches where he bluntly told everyone that black men need to start acting like responsible men and not like the rappers they see in music videos. Bill Cosby caught a lot of shit for that, but he didnt care because he knew he was speaking the truth.

  21. Kmaster02 says:

I actually forgot that ROCKETBOOM videos told news, I usually just stare at The pretty blond girls tits all video long.

  22. kevojy says:

I totally saw these people when I was in New York. They asked my brother what time it was which was the starting of a song.

  23. fantasmaofdoom says:

@Kmaster02 Well if they did their job good this wasn’t supposed to be here :D so… (this should be on Rocketboom NYC or something)

  24. madskizophrenik says:

I like hardcore rock but I have so much appreciation for all types of music…but I must say…the mainstream music industry of today has turned to crap…its sad to hear music like that on the radio…but its nice to see that there are people out there who still sing and perform songs from the past…when music made sense…not like the barking we hear now days on MTV.

  25. ocarinalover1348 says:

MY GOD YOU MADE A SEPERATE CHANNEL FOR THIS. FUCKIN USE IT GOD DAMN IT!!!! but i do like this im glad i saw it :)

  26. balzac308 says:

Another cool segment. Ella probably has one of the coolest jobs I can think of! So many interesting topics.

  27. Vereonis says:

@sashablfc ofc not, because for starters what they’re doing isn’t a job, hence why I said “can’t they get a job” implying that isn’t one, which is it isn’t as they’re not employed by anyone nor are they providing a service which people are asking for. What they’re doing is begging and getting in people’s way, dunno if you’ve heard, but theres these magical things called MP3 players, people who want music on a subway have it, also my MP3 player doesn’t try to guilt my earned money away into a bag

  28. OrphanPaper says:

@ellamorton i was going to say “she had tickets on her self “, but i didn’t think people from overseas places would understand :)

  29. stickmanbrains says:

So it’s like A Capella. We had a group visit our country a couple times named Shere Khan which was like college students and they were pretty good too. But they had like 10-12 people at any time. It’s a cool style of music tbh.

  30. gabrielnorburg says:

so cute and stylish at the same time, she does have some years on me but she still drives me wild :)

  31. sashablfc says:

@Vereonis Well, I don’t know what it is but i just like people in real life better, I.E. you go to see an opera singer in real life instead of listening to him/her via mp3. I get were you are coming from and i sorta agree, but i don’t think they are getting in peoples way.

  32. unorthodoxJ says:

    I love RocketboomNYC

But people are against watching it cus it’s a specific area they feel they’ll have no interest in

So I think it’ll be in RocketboomNYC’s best interest if Ella stayed out of the screenshot for the videos so that viewers actually give the content a chance before rejecting it

  33. NewRecruitInNatsArmy says:

@ellamorton Hey Ella great of you to respond to my comment (but I have no idea what what your comment was in reference to though). The upside of it was that I have now found your EM channel, and it looks like I have lots and lots of Ella videos to watch. I love your work, keep it up.

  34. noybw333 says:

What ever happened to having a seperate rocketboom nyc channel? I love rocketboom nyc, but now my rbdaily isnt daily :P

  35. IncurableAbbe says:

@ellamorton I disagree. It still sounds like you’re chewing on a piece of gum to me–and that’s not an insult! It’s a great accent, I just don’t know how else to describe it. :) Take the word “no” for example. “Nah-er”. Sounds like a chewy word when Aussies say it! Makes me want bubble gum…

Why am I reading youtube comments at 6:09 in the morning? Goodbye.

  36. parcivale says:

@noybw333 My guess is that Andrew Baron finally realized that they were pointless since everything went onto the main RB channel anyway..

  37. parcivale says:

  39. adamvallieres01 says:

they sing, put smiles on peoples face, but judging by the steel in that dudes mouth, it gets in the way of brushing his teeth

  40. ellamorton says:

@graymalkin1234 I bet you could find something to care less about. What about the fact that over 90 per cent of the remaining butternut in New Hampshire forests is infected with a non-native disease called ‘butternut canker’?

  41. ellamorton says:

@bulavo No robbers or drug dealers were filmed in the making of this video. So turn that frown upside down, sport.

  42. ellamorton says:

@leapoffaith20 The URDB Book of World Records; amazing, quirky, creative world records that people have set and broken; in October!

  43. Leadman1989 says:

Why do people always try to prop up their own preference in music by degrading other genres?

All genres of music have their redeeming qualities and NO not just the one’s you stereotypically think of as that genre
    I love
    classical
    “rap” hip-hop
    rock
    metal
    disco
    pop
    country
    techno
    dub-step
    doo wop
    and MORE!

  44. foxxxin says:

Love this… would like the cd… idea: there must be lots of singing groups plus this one… how about a series with highlighting each?

  45. glittergirljmm says:

Music is love, always exspanding. Rap doesnt have to die for duwop to live. Balance. Yin and yan (sp.)
But I loved the performance. Should sell cds online.
Oh, and come to DC. We could really use some cheer here…if they didn’t shut down the trains too. :(

  46. bkcdn says:

Check out more of these guys in the movie trailer Below New York. These guys are fantastic. Link in description and here watch?v=GYYDfPUBs0M&feature=feedlik

  47. Telemna says:

that guys is kind of full of himself, and probably hitting on her too! go ahead, watch it again and ask yourself the second time through!

  48. sleazybtd says:

@Telemna Well, if I’m hitting on a woman, I would hope it would be noticeable enough that she would notice. :-P

  49. jason24568 says:

@vinceandlilly All of the separated accounts are now useless including RB Tech because Ellie leaves Rocketboom.

  50. eph5121 says:

‘why do fools fall in love’ came to mind when they sang a certain song… that would sound great in accapella !

  51. Buddhistpalm says:

    @ellamorton
I guess it has come full circle now. All the channels are merging into one main channel just like before.

  52. NY11808 says:

I hate seeing these kinds of guys on the subway. I would rather enjoy a nice peaceful ride instead of being forced to listen to them – no matter how good they may be.
