Smoking matters for the president is because he is a figurehead. It’s right he came under fire for smoking b.c he planned and spent tons of future taxpayer money on “equal” healthcare. Countless patients that can’t afford to pay for care (and now payed for by those even mildly capable) have problems from smoking , the single most common culprit. By smoking, Obama gave the public permission to continue self destructive behavior at the healthcare workers’ and taxpayers’ expense.
If you follow your insurance or are a healthcare professional, you would noticed the finer changes that have begun and will continue.

- 3 quit cold turkey, started, then quit again for at least 2 years

- 1 quite, but is using that nicotine vaporizor “fake cirarette”
- 1 quit using a wooden cigarette (no nicotine)

I don’t think that is a fair assessment. If you read his reasoning behind his arguments, you can tell he is very well read in the Austrian school of economics, particularly mises and Rothbard. Most would also admit that even when he is asked to spill milk on his opponents, he is very polite and honest, and often does his best to compliment them on the virtuous things that they had said.

The closest thing to a “lie” is when Cenk uses the “apples to oranges” comment, but it was he who was comparing apples (the current wages of workers) to oranges (adjusted wages for schooling and experience). Note that experience and schooling don’t enter into the debate when comparing how much people are paid for jobs.

Both Cenk’s and Megan’s numbers compare apples (a person working in the private sector) with oranged (a person working in the public sector). But compariing a teacher (what manager???) to all other employees can only happen as a one to one on salary.
If you want straight numbers, note that union teachers make more on average than private school teachers, and get better benefits by a mile. So, they can be thought as both not accurate, but not lying.

@URProductions well the smoker has a choice to do it or not.. if I’m in a room with someone who doesn’t want to smoke but I choose to smoke then they are forced to breath the second hand smoke.. ok you could say they should go somewhere else but then what if its 30 non smokers? the needs of many out weigh that of the few.

But even long before i could get an electric vehicle i was aware that the exhaust fumes from my car was the most dangerous thing i have ever been responsible for.
Electric is faster,more reliable cheaper and better in every way.
I have never had trouble getting a recharge as there is electric outlets everywhere.
Try asking someone for a tank of gas when you visit them.
