The title is extremely misleading, this is just some plastic figures placed around a real city and that does NOT qualify for the nomenclature of “miniature city”. -What a waste of time!

This is kind of like tilt-shift, but not.
I would have skipped the campers because to fit them into a city, no matter how miniturized, is a bit confusing, but the parallel story and the final rejoining is very nice.

I love this video. Its a world within a world. So poetic.
The fact that it is misleading is what makes this video interesting instead of trite. One expects some fancy sci-fi model of a futuristic mini city, which would fit Rocketboom’s m.o. Instead, we get a spin on a familiar idea that forces us to think critically about what it means to live in our own cities. We perceive ourselves as imporatnt, but does it even matter when the gaze of the city is so inward that we wouldn’t be able to pick out the intricacies of the landscape around us?
