You need to watch your show on a TiVo Series3 or TiVo HD. While it is nice that you are in 1080i now, you’re also in 4:3 aspect, and I don’t mean anamorphic. Your widescreen video is being cropped to the 4:3 frame such that the right side of the video is missing (not the usual cropping on both sides). The first image says “rocket boo”. Chip Reynolds is credited on-screen as `William T. “Chip” R; Captain, Ha’ (semicolon is line break).
The right 4 of your 16:9 (that’s 25% of your video) is missing on TiVo.
In recent history GeekBrief.TV had this exact same problem for episode 622, but it was corrected by the next.
I’ve mentioned this on TiVo Community.com’s Help Forum as well. User wmcbrine there confirmed seeing the same problem, but no comment (or solution) from TiVo. Apart from the limit of 10 retained episodes, I really prefer watching Rocketboom on TiVo over getting it via iTunes and I hope this alerts you to the problem so it can be fixed. I love the show and just wish TiVo HD viewers could see all of it.
