  1. downeysoftness says:

    lol i know its terrible but i cant help but laugh at all of insensitive comments.
    but this video was very inspirational thanks molly

  2. bulbinking says:

    Why is it that the only poor black people who want to learn and better themselves only live in 3rd world countries?

  3. BattleBrawlerX says:

    @calebfrederick Haha! I find this kinda funny. But you can’t exactly prove he was white, can you Frederick?

  4. TheKonkaman says:

    @calebfrederick why the hell would he be white? he was from the middle east if anything he would be olive, he was a jew after all

  5. CCNezin1 says:

    @calebfrederick Hate to break it to you, but that’s more accurate than the average depiction, he lived in the middle east, not Britain.

  6. xsrxd3vlstheory says:

    @calebfrederick Jesus did have that color of skin. If you really believe he was white with blue eyes you’re fucking high.

  7. Schmidtah says:

    @xsrxd3vlstheory: He was Jewish, semantic. Not a black. If you believe Jesus was black you’re retarded. Africans didn’t really penetrate into Asia ever.

  8. Onthealmond says:

    @bie5436 Jesus was an Israeli Jew. Therefore, white. Not that his color mattered, I’m just giving the facts.

  9. 4Gehe2 says:

    As a classical musician, this made me really happy. Bringing classical musics message to those who are suffering. Nothing wakes you up to realize your feelings than playing a beautiful piece of music yourself. I really allows you to examine yourself!

  10. DeRealUno says:

    Its true that they should focus on things that will help their community as a whole.
    but is it what it is and its good nonetheless

  11. wrangleroooo says:

    All that garbage is mostly from us!!! Mostly from europe and US, because we don´t want to spent extra money to dispose it.

  12. Abadninja says:

    Why all the stuff about Jesus in this video’s comments?

    Ontopic though, this video is inspiring, thank you.

  13. bigjavo36 says:

    @Onthealmond that makes him middle eastern more arabic in descent and looks. the reason why today’s isrealis are white is because most of them are europeans and russian jews that either fled europe during the holocaust or immigrated to isreal when it became isreal

  14. TarEldamir says:

    @calebfrederick Yes, Jesus is usually depicted as “one of us”. In Europe he looks European, in Asia he looks Asian, in Africa he looks African etc.

  15. deogrou says:

    I wonder why a lot of the kind of short documentarys are in Dutch (: I think it’s funny though, cause I’m Dutch, but really nice video, glad they’re doing something ^^

  16. Marictdude says:

    @CasperXNL
    way to be xenophobic. Even though I am not a fan of it, I know that rap, like all genres of music, can be poetic and enrich a culture.

  17. DGC019 says:

    Hij moet nog wel veel oefenen zo te horen, maar ik wens hem heel veel succes! Wat zielig trouwens van die stank, want ik vind 1 vuilniszak al stinken!

  18. SakuraEfreet says:

    I can’t believe some of the comments these people are posting.

    Yes, he’s no Mozart, but my gosh, all this young man has is his dream! I hope he continues to practice and enjoy classical music. God bless him and all those who are learning with him!

  19. derekcolman says:

    @PalkaSvechi . How do you know that? There would have been plenty of black people in Israel in those days. But there again, he probably never existed, as there is no reference to him in ancient writings outside of the books of the bible. The Roman empire that ruled Israel was seemingly oblivious of his existence. The story of the virgin birth of the son of a god exists in several old religions that predate Jesus by thousands of years, and strangely they all have similar names.

  20. xsrxd3vlstheory says:

    @Schmidtah Where did i say he was black? i said he had that color of skin, which he did. You can have a dark skin tone and not be black ignorant asshole.

  21. Skimaskkass says:

    @DemonicSymphonic Really I thought he was Arabic… You know him being born in the Middle East and stuff. Popular imagery isn’t always accurate depictions of how things/people probably looked like.

  22. TheJamMan69 says:

    @DemonicSymphonic actually jesus was brown. he is only portrayed white because the most famous paintings of him are by Davinci, who wouldn’t dare paint jesus as a brown man back in those times. so you get it right, dumbass redneck

  23. DemonicSymphonic says:

    @TheJamMan69 DaVinci’s portrayal is accurate. You worship a white god. Its time you got it right asshole. Yes you deserve to die and I hope you burn in hell!

  24. neoconkergirl says:

    @DemonicSymphonic

    Jesus was middle eastern. Meaning he’s not white.

    Also if we’re all created in God’s image then he can’t be exclusively white.

  25. neoconkergirl says:

    @DemonicSymphonic

    Actually seeing how the white man has suppressed many africans, pacific asians and middle easterns whites are the devil really. Also the reason why black people are black is beacuase in Africa it’s reaaaaaaally hot so it’s an adaption to prevent them from getting burned severly.

  26. bradmanthethird says:

    @neoconkergirl

    Actually sir, if you continue to offend me with your blatantly anti-god and anti-family comments then I will have to call the police. My great grandpa didn’t fight the Nazis so that you could go around making fantastical claims about non-white gods.

  27. kailea2323 says:

    that is awesome.
    he may not be overly great now, but he has the passion to do it. and with passion, you can pretty much accomplish anything you want.

  28. neoconkergirl says:

    @bradmanthethird

    Troll harder buddy.
    Since when does being atheist mean being anti-god of anti-family? I can’t be anti-god if I don’t believe such a thing exists in the first place and also I do want children. Oh and guess what you grandpa died for our country and our country’s laws and rights and one of those rights happens to be freedom of speech and freedom of religion (including not having one).
    You say god is white? Well then I can say he’s a flying spaghetti monster.

  29. bradmanthethird says:

    @neoconkergirl

    That’s offensive, the police are on their way, I will see my religious freedom respected, and that means the freedom not to be offended.

  30. neoconkergirl says:

    @bradmanthethird

    Freedom of religion means no one can force you into a religion and that you have the right to practice a religion or not practice one at all it doesn’t mean no one can criticize it. I also don’t respect your religion especially since more people have been killed in the name christianity than any other religion. In the history of the world.

  31. frankylovesyall says:

    I wonder if we take some boats over there and say “hey guys, we’ll provide you with food and shelter if you will work on our farms… the only catch is that we own you” how many of them would say “it’s a deal! just get me the hell outta here!”

  32. pryonisys says:

    Simon playing a euphonium same instrument I played in high school. I’m glad to see these kids getting a chance to do things in their lives involving the arts.

  33. Shittybill121 says:

    Hate chains… anime_rox3…i shouldnt of read that sorry, but i don’t want to take any chances, if you do not copy and paste this onto 10 videos your mom will die in 24 hours ❤ sorry x10

  34. Schmidtah says:

    @xsrxd3vlstheory: The boy next to him has an afro. In that image he is a Black African. Rastafarians even believe so.

  35. Schmidtah says:

    @bie5436:He was obviously native American. You base it on the geographic location of Israel dumbass. Black Africa is hundreds of miles away.

  36. xsrxd3vlstheory says:

    @Schmidtah Regardless. I was refering to the skin tone, not the origin of the people in the picture. I couldn’t care less of what Rastafarians believe.

  37. Brad Sondahl says:

    I wonder why classical music–the church’s preference? Tin whistles and harmonicas and handmade percussion would be a lot cheaper. Of course there’s a lot of great African world music this flies in the face of…

  38. GmasterRED says:

    @wrangleroooo
    You just went full retarded.
    So you’re saying we ship our garbage over to Africa and dump it there?

  39. Cutlesnap says:

    I wonder why HumanWire is always in Dutch. Isn’t it specifically for RB? I haven’t seen it air locally. Maybe Ruud’s English is just terrible :D

  40. Johnismybestfriend says:

    @AreaQNH870 it depends what you’re looking for and where you’re going. Amsterdam is a completely different experience than the rest of Holland.. like an enclave of tourists.. hehe. It can also be quite serene, relaxed.. the people are (mostly) happy and friendly, the food is good although maybe a little expensive.
    There’s alot to see, a lot to do. I’ve actually been in Amsterdam 20+ times in my life myself and it never gets me bored :)

  41. maksphoto78 says:

    Funny how the Dutchare making these documentaries. The Dutch were among those who colonised Africa and brought misery to its people. Take South Africa for example.

  42. sparkybaz77 says:

    Yeah, let your son bring the money in, lazy bitch. My mum raised 2 kids and would then ride 6 miles to start a night shift in a plastics factory.

    And stop having fukin kids..use a condom!

  43. alto5454 says:

    @maksphoto78 Yeah but so are most other European countries. I suggest you read the Wikipedia article Colonization_of_Africa or at least look at it’s map.
    Anyway making this documentary is probably more help full than not doing so, even if it is ironic.

  44. konikula says:

    good report… unseen, as there is not much to do physically over those problems, such spiritual and psychological way is just something growing just over and higher flower than solidarity or charity. thats quite science as it should be, or philosophy

  45. Thonero says:

    My cultural school is helping a project like this in Africa, I’m not sure it is this one but what these people do is fantastic.

  46. kristopheraugust says:

    @SakuraEfreet He needs a government that supports private property rights, and upholds the rule of law.

    Otherwise, he has no right to his dreams, and he has no protection from those who care to take it from him.

  47. mrteemumilto says:

    They need a better standard of living, houses, income, food, services and outdoor facilities, not your bloody classical music culture. Fucking hypocrites.

  48. ReliableInsider says:

    @GmasterRED

    Uhhhh, what’s with the personal attacks?

    Be angry at the idea of towns and schools and dumps built side-by-side.

  49. ReliableInsider says:

    @GmasterRED

    The First Amendment was written to allow people like GmasterRED to expose themselves for who they really are.

    Pull your pants back up. It’s embarrassing.

  50. 789123456789 says:

    this is an excellent video. Very inspiring

    and for once, people arent talking about molly :) not that that’s a bad thing though

  51. movieshaque says:

    my god!!! i’m not watching to see starving kids in africa, i’m watching to see the blond chick get naked!!!!!!!!!!

  52. tokoun says:

    Humanwire correspondent Black mcblack brings us an lot’kar story of classical cooking a turd lessons in the slums of trolls

  53. cricketbat08 says:

    In England, they play classical music over loud speakers near shopping centres to disperse gangs of youths from congregating nearby!! :)

  54. mrteemumilto says:

    @yerk3 They are not being rendered free to have classical music, they are thought be better with classical music. That’s the mistake. Thank you!

  55. mrteemumilto says:

    @yerk3 It proves how this charity rubbish is actually just further denying them the quality of life that they need.

  56. alexicon89 says:

    Charity is rubbish because it doesn’t reach the people properly and when it does it usually doesn’t make a long term difference.

    even a lot of scholars from Africa and other problem zones say its probably best to stop sending aid.

    all this exact charity is doing is creating false hope lol.

  57. alexicon89 says:

    @pryonisys

    like they fucking need arts.

    they live in conditions that were around at 17th century europe etc, if we are going to help them we need to build africa up like we built ourselves up. from the ground up.

    Arts isnt important when your friends die of dysintery.

  58. ElGrandeBanana says:

    @bradmanthethird And by that you know the man(Or woman, I dont know) is a whiteman and not some random pile of spagetie with balls?

    And, uh, You are a real good troll. Some troll that knows the facts and eats the trolls who react to it. Nice work :P

  59. Cloudwolf40 says:

    WOw what the shit??? send kids from kenya to a western religion’s church to play western instruments. Imperialistic much?

  60. SmaXman says:

    @alexicon89
    Mozart and Shakespeare come to mind when talking about arts from the 16th-18th century. You’re seriously undervaluing the arts and their importance. It’s ironic how you talk about “building up africa” yet dismiss art.
    Art is instrumental in “building up” a society. As the kid himself said, it’s inspiration.

  61. frozendusk11 says:

    this is really inspiring, makes me feel like going out there and really making a difference in people’s lives like they are

  62. alexicon89 says:

    you guys are fucking retards if you think this truly helps to improve their living conditions.

    ofc you had music when we had these conditions but its useless to focus on music when your family is starving.

    HE CANT MAKE MONEY WITH THIS.

    He dreams of performing across seas etc, how fucking naive is that.

    if you had any real ambitions in music you’d know its an extermely long shot.

    so suck my dick you naive ignorant fucks who think this helps.

  63. court0393 says:

    @alexicon89 of course this doesnt help money wise. but it helps to raise his spirit. this helps in a different way, but it still helps. of course it isnt the only thing that needs to be done. bitterness certainly doesnt help anything either.

  64. siriuslymessedup says:

    oh i recognise that song he’s playing in the end it goes duh duh duuuh du duu duud duuu duu du duu duu duuuuuuuuu. it’s really nice what they’re doing? =3

  65. spunkypuppy says:

    By “classical” instruments, they mean “Western” classical instruments. Why don’t they teach instruments that are classical in Nairobi, that have more cultural significance to the people there?

  66. BOOTLEGPIRATEVIDEO says:

    @spunkypuppy totally agree, there are over 27 different dialects in kenya alone, yet they have not been documented or furthered.. imagine if all the languages were free to be learned at schools or universities, then it would lead to better understanding of each of the tribes, thus reformatting tribalism… oh and each of those 27 different tribes have their own instruments and they are taught in schools as part of the curriculum. would be cool if there were a african instrument orchestra.
