Who knew there was a "Paris Syndrome"? Close to 12 japanese tourists need psychological treatment after touring around Paris because it is so different to what they assumed it was going to be like and it becomes a shocking, terrifying experience to them. Honestly, if you think microwaves are attacking you, get the hell out of whatever situation you're in!! Maybe all the tourists need is a little introduction to a pan Japanese/French patisserie that makes sweet treats that mix both cuisines.
