Casino Royale, is the 1953 novel that started it all my friend. Its amazing how well they adapted the book to screen this time around. You grow very attached to the chars in the novel even more than in the movie.
Anyway, millions of people have seen not only all the bond films but read all the books. You want gadgets , Go watch Inspector Gadget.
If you want novels, stick to book reading.
Watchmen is an amazing graphic novel, and the film doesn’t even get close to the greatness of the GN.
The same goes with Bond films and novels, it’s NOT the same thing!
If you want to destroy the Bond series and turn it into the Bourne Trilogy, go ahead, but don’t include me on that.

I think the best gadget had to be the watch laser from Goldeneye. Even though it didn’t get much usage, lasers of that power are the size of large rooms, so such miniturization is awesome.
But I noticed the list went perfectly forward in time. The sequentially “best” gadgets were from the newer and newer films. I think that wasn’t exactly the best way to go with this. But I was probably the only one paying attention to stuff other than the girl. *rolls eyes*

Daniel Craig is a great actor, in every other movie other than Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale. Those movies sucked ass. No Q or R and no gadgets! I’d say the coolest and most famous Bond gadget has the be the DB5. It’s been in several of the movies, but showed what it could do in Goldfinger. But my favorite is the 750iL. Remote control phones are sick!

Yeah man, and have you noticed he has never ordered a martini (shaken not stirred), and the bond theme song has never played during either of the films. No witty comments like Connery or Moore, and no romantic badassnes of Dalton or Brosnan. I heard it is because Albert Broccoli’s wife or daughter toook over, and she thinks the movies need to be more modern. BULLSHIT!

again, no humor, no gadgets, no style. no fun! i mean where are the unnecessarily complex methods of execution, the ridiculously eccentric criminal masterminds with the great names, like Dr. No , Oddjob, and Jaws? all the things that made the older bond movies so much fun. this isn’t james bond anymore. it’s james borring.
